Review Process Schedule

Preamble: Manuscripts (Full Papers) selected for publication and presentation at the 2013 ASC Annual Meeting are subjected to a blind review by a minimum of three members of the ASC International Review Board. Reviewers are selected from those having content knowledge concerning the manuscript's topic. Reviewers have been pre-qualified and are critically reviewing submitted Full Papers according to the Annual Proceedings Policies found at the ASC Reviewer Qualification Web site, http://ascpro.ascweb.org/ascpro/review.htm, under "Reviewers." Authors are highly encouraged to make an application as a Review Board member.

• October 01 - October 26, 2012 - Paper Due Date: Authors submit FULL PAPERS through the ASC – Proceedings Paper Submission and Review web page following the ASC Proceedings Style Guide. The FULL PAPERS shall NOT include authors name or any identifying associations in the papers content (example: University of **** at ****).

• November 05, 2012  - Paper Receipt Notification:  Once the papers have been received, they will be processed and e-mails will be sent to the first authors of the papers indicating that the papers have been received. Please notice that this e-mail will be sent after the paper has been processed, but not later than the date indicated above. If the first author of the paper has not received the e-mail by the date indicated above, please contact the ASC proceeding editor/publisher to track the paper.

• November 12 - November 30, 2012 - Reviewers Comments:  Reviewers have the opportunity to provide constructive comments to the authors through a dynamic Web page.

• December 03 - December 14, 2012 - Electronic Discussion between Author and Reviewers:  Authors have the opportunity to respond to the reviewers comments and, in turn, the reviewers can reply to the authors through a dynamic Web page discussion format. 

• December 17 - January 4, 2013 - Reviewer Voting: After the electronic discussion, reviewers will then vote on the papers publication potential. Authors are notified electronically upon receipt and completion of the review process. 

• January 14, 2013 - Notification of Acceptance: Once your paper has been accepted, you will be sent 1) information about your paper with final submission requirements/deadlines and 2) the Assignment Agreement. You must sign and return these documents before your manuscript will be published. Submission to the ASC Annual Meeting implies the manuscript is not being considered nor has been published elsewhere and that you will be presenting your paper at the Annual Conference.  

• January 25, 2013 - Final Paper Due: Accepted papers, assignment agreements, and conference reservations are required by this date for Proceedings publication.

• February 11 - February 18, 2013 - Final Review : Authors and Reviewers will have the opportunity to have a final review of the web version of the ASC Conference proceedings to provide final input in its preparation. Furthermore, reviewers will have the opportunity to check if author's have addressed or made the suggested corrections.
